 Very good product. Not for use with sling. August 2, 2010

The Allen Buttstock Holder fits very snugly on my 12 Gauge Remington 870 Express shotgun. There is a little slack on the narrow end of the buttstock, but it probably would not have fit on if they made it narrower at one end. It holds five 12 gauge shells very securely. I didn't have any trouble getting them to fit.
My one complaint is that this holder covers the sling mount on the buttstock. I keep a sling on my shotgun for easy carrying, and I had to cut a hole in the buttstock holder to allow me to mount the sling. Once the hole was cut, it was still very difficult to get the sling attached, as the elastic is very tight at that point. I will probably have to go back and stitch around the hole I cut later on.
Overall a good product. I just wish they had taken the sling mount into account.

This shotshell holder is very impressive for the money. Fits very snug on my 12 gauge Rem 870 and holds the shells very snugly too. Its made of very durable material and I received it 2 days after I placed my order. And I feel much more secure with those extra five 00 buck shells in the holder just in case.

I ordered this for my Mossberg 590a1, and while it does fit on there, the sling adapter on the stock that comes with the shotgun hinders it from being completely snug. Other than the small "snag", it holds 12ga shells quite well.

This product showed up faster than expected! I was suppose to receive it next week but im glad it got here sooner.. anyways this product is GREAT! It fits 5 12gauge shells and it keeps them tight enough so u could have easy access to them and its easy to put them in.. also its tight around the grip so it wont be loose while you shoot it.
I truly recommend this item its real good for the price and its GREAT!!
