I recently purchased one of these cases through Amazon. The reviews were very favorable and upon receiving the case I was extremely pleased. The 38" version fit my assault rifle perfectly with room to spare, even with a 30 round clip in place and a full-sized scope sitting arop the rifle on high-rise scope mounts the rifle fits right in and zips closed easily. The exterior storage compartments are generously sized. I can get 4 extra 30 tound clips, three 50 round boxes of cartriges and two thumb savers for reloading the clips into the storage compartments with room to spare. The manufacturer did not scrimp on the padding. This case is heavily padded. The construction if the case is flawless. This is one of the best buys that I have ever made. If you need a great case for an assault-style rifle buy this one. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect case for my AR15 rifle. My new Winchester Assault Rifle case has plenty of room inside. I am able to keep my scope, laser and flashlight mounted as well as have extra room in the bag for the detached carry handle, tripod grip and one extra magazine.

I bought the Winchester case based on price and utility. It holds my Sig Sauer 552 rimfire rifle and I've been pleased from day one. I'd seen other Winchester cases and they all seemed well-padded with tough ballistic nylon construction and sturdy zippers. This one also has five outside pockets for addition magazines, ammo, loader, etc. Highly recommend.
