Product Description Crafted with a rugged design, the Doskosport® 4-pistol case offers solid protection for up to 4 longer-barreled handguns. Two plastic latches provide ample security, and the interior egg crate foam cushions your firearms so you'll never have to worry about damage. The exterior padlock tabs can also be used to attach a shoulder strap for even simpler transport (strap not included).

| Customer Reviews: The photo hides the cases flaws September 11, 2009 Color Bond 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
When you look at the photo, the case looks fine. But there are a few unpleasant surprises when you actually receive the case itself.
The first thing that you notice is that this is not a hard case. Oh, technically, I suppose it qualifies in that it's not a fabric siding. However, if you wanted a case that will protect against any (and I do mean any) sort of crush damage, this case is woefully inadequate. The case is made from thin, flexible plastic - yes, flexible. You could be generous and call this case "firm". But it is in no sense rigid - which is what I look for in a hard case.
A Pelican case wouldn't even cross the street to spit on one of these. Now, I know that the price points between this and a Pelican are significantly different, but for the same price as this case, you can get a blow-molded case of similar size - you know the type, semi-shiny black plastic, with an air filled double wall on every side. Those are significantly better suited to offer protection from crush damage than this case is. This case would protect the contents from an infant sitting on it - maybe. But if you had anything delicate in this case, and a 5 year old sat on it, it's gone.
In addition, you can't tell from the photo, but the handle is horribly designed. The handle is seperated in two pieces - each half rigidly attached to each side of the case. They come together with one side forming a "C" around half of the other. This means that you have a sharp edge running the entire length of the handle, making this extremely uncomfortable to hold. If the case slides in your hand, you might get cut - you will certainly get scraped.
Also, the foam is extremely poorly fitted. Whenever you lift the lid, the top section of foam doesn't go with it. It stays sitting on top of the rest of the case, because it's just loosely fitted into the lid. You have to pick up the top layer of foam and put it back into the lid every time.
I'd avoid this case unless you're buying it for someone you don't like very much. :)
