 Not for the M4 model rifle July 23, 2010

Just like what other people said... this case is long enough for an M4 style rifle with a collapsible stock but it will not close securely because the case is not deep enough. You can manage to close the case but you can see some gaps or openings around the handle. All plastic material. Not heat or waterproof. Great product to store your paintball or airsoft gun. Be very careful with the locking mechanism because you might break it - The latches are plastic. If you're looking for a case to secure your expensive rifle you might want to spend more and go to a local sports shop or outdoor shop around your area.

for the money. I use it for my M14. I ride a motorcycle so I need a shorter rifle case. This one fits the bill ... I break down my rifle and it fits just fine. Sure its cheap plastic, but its durable enough. You can't go wrong for the price!

The case is very durable and holds the gun snugly. When you are buying make sure you know the dimensions of you gun when broken down, my new gun barely fit but it's a perfect smaller case. I fit the gun, 2 chokes, choke wrench, and action lock in the case no prob.
